Trailer and Semi-Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities

As a Trailer Mechanic in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair and technical overhaul of trailers and semi-trailers.

Your tasks include:

• Repairing and overhauling axle systems
• Maintenance and repair of braking systems
• Repairing suspension systems
• Servicing lighting systems
• Repairing chassis damage
• Working on tipping systems
• Performing welding and grinding tasks
• Assisting with pre-inspections under supervision of a certified inspector

You will work in a professional workshop environment with high technical standards and structured processes.

Requirements – Trailer Mechanic Job Netherlands

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• EU Citizen (mandatory)
• Experience working on trailers and semi-trailers
• Experience with braking, suspension and axle systems
• Ability to perform welding and grinding
• English level B1 required
• Valid driver’s license required
• VCA certificate required or willing to obtain
• Technical education is an advantage
