About the Opportunity

An award-winning rooftop cocktail bar located in one of Amsterdam’s leading international hotels is looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to join its hospitality team. As Floor Supervisor, you will oversee daily floor operations and lead a team of waiters, bartenders, hostesses, and shift leaders. Your primary focus will be ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the high service standards that have made the venue internationally recognized.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support waiters, bartenders, hostesses, and shift leaders
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve service excellence
• Monitor daily floor operations and maintain quality standards
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally
• Support operational efficiency during busy service periods
• Create a positive and collaborative team environment
• Maintain brand and hospitality standards consistently

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory hospitality role
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
• Previous team management experience is required
• Hotel School diploma or equivalent hospitality qualification is preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability
• Availability for a long-term position (12+ months)

• Monthly salary payments on the 25th of each month
