About the Role
We are currently hiring experienced Plater Ironworkers for shipbuilding projects in Hoogezand, Netherlands. This is a great opportunity for skilled professionals who want to work on large maritime structures with long-term stability.
Job Overview
As a Plater Ironworker, you will be responsible for building ship rudders for large sea vessels. You will work based on technical drawings and assemble heavy steel constructions with high precision.
This role is based in a professional shipbuilding environment where quality, accuracy, and safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and construct heavy steel components for shipbuilding
- Build ship rudders and structural parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Ensure precision and high-quality workmanship
- Work safely within a shipyard environment
Job Requirements
- Experience as a plater or ironworker in heavy steel construction
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in shipbuilding is a strong advantage
- English language level B1 or higher
- Valid driver’s license required
- Own car preferred
Working Conditions
- 40 working hours per week
- Regular overtime available
