Job Description

We are looking for two experienced Sheet Metal Workers for shipbuilding projects in the Netherlands. The ideal candidates have strong background in shipbuilding or heavy steel construction and can work independently from technical drawings.

This position is open to professionals who are already in the Netherlands or willing to pay for their own flight tickets.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and assemble sheet metal parts for ship structures
• Work with steel and stainless steel materials according to shipyard standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings precisely
• Perform cutting, fitting, and basic welding tasks
• Maintain safety standards and ensure a tidy workplace

Requirements

• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker (shipbuilding essential)
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings
• English B1 communication level required
• Driving license preferred
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Candidates already in the Netherlands or willing to cover travel costs

Conditions

• A1 contract – €760 net/week (40 hours)
• Overtime €19 net/hour (Mon–Fri) and 146% on Saturdays
